Making a complex product offering accessible.
RealSky works with large pharmaceutical companies, helping them to unlock growth from within. After ten years their business offering and client base had developed and this needed to be reflected in their (dated) online presence.
We were briefed to redesign their website from the ground up, with a focus on simplifying the communication so that their service offering would be clear to a potential client. Added to this, RealSky wanted to be able to easily update the case-study content as their project portfolio developed.
The redesign encompassed a brand refresh as well as a full content audit and restructure. It was essential to research and fully understand the content before preparing a sitemap for the new website. The supplied text was edited and their multi-faceted service offering organised into two categories.
This resulted in a final structure that was simple and easy to navigate. The home page includes all top-level information. A user-focused top menu navigates to page anchors and their two-part service offering is explained using actual client questions that link to corresponding cases studies.
The case studies are housed in an easy-to-use content management system (CMS) so RealSky can easily edit and update.
The main design challenge was finding a creative way to present the case studies on the home page in a way that didn’t feel like a menu or list. By using a flexible card design, in conjunction with the CMS, we created a home page that is user friendly and makes the RealSky service offering easy for their target audience to understand.
